Yeah same here. I've never been interested in MMO's but Grandia would definitly get me into it.

It would be interesting to see how it would transfer to an MMO setting. I'm not exactly sure if I like this good news or not. Especially if it's a different devloper. I guess I will have to wait and see until the project is further realized.

Bleh, Japanese rpg series farmed out to be Korean MMORPG like Tales of Eternia Online.

But I don't play MMORPGs so maybe that is a good thing.

Interestingly, when the game was announced the developers mentioned that they liked the campfire chats from the original Grandia, and are trying to find a way to implement them into Grandia Online. It worked well for the single player games, but I'm not sure what sort of purpose they could serve in a MMO outside of shooting the shit with your party which one can do in party chat anyway.
