So the new HP Pavilion Notebook has a feature that bothers the heck out of us.
When you release the touchpad and touch it again, it acts as a left-button click.

We went through the mouse properties and couldn't find a way to turn this off. The only touchpad feature was switching between left and right click.

Thanks, Gaf.

We looked. We troubleshot.
Everything led us to changing click speed, change handedness, or shutting off the touchpad completely.

Are you talking about touch-clicking?

Like tapping the touchpad to do a click? It's useful.

But the ALPS touchpads used by Dell tend to be pretty shitty.

If only it was a Synaptics...

Ugh, touchpads.

Nothing beats the Thinkpad red pointer thingy in the middle of the keyboard. Reponsive, easy, and comfortable. :)
