First of all. There is POLITE ways to run a forum and it is really an insult for me to replace my avatar (THAT DOESN'T GO AGAINST ANY of the GAF rules) by this comment.

I'm going to change it because of you crybabies. My avatar was simply "an incredibly beautifull woman" and there was nothing sexual in there and you can't see a thing and not even a nipple.

You guys have ever though of changing violent avatars and ban people that don't want to change it? What's worse for the health of GAFers; violence or beauty?

There was many threads this summer that were closed "for no apparent reason". Just some admin who does not feel to talk about that when nobody is supposed to close ANY topic if it does not go against any rules.
Same thing with avatars now? bravo. We are the police - we make the law. Good grief.

Well think of it this way, you have a choice what topic to go into and you can generally tell if there will be pictures that will be too explicit to view at school, work, what have you. However, due to a bug in the forum's software and the way avatars were implemented, you cannot disable avatars. Meaning if you merely want to check out the scores of your competitors in the online forum, you're running the risk of a softcore porn image showing up as someone's avatar.

I think that in general, most of the mods are pretty hands off (though I do not enter political topics), but of course I'd think that. The reason I'm pretty much hands off is that, well hey look at the reaction to asking you to change your avatar. For months, heck almost a year, I've been using these and no one has complained:

This is a free forum, and I'm not talking about speech or expression. The admins provide a service for free, and they can run it however they want. If they don't like the way you looked at them, you're banned. Likewise for your thread and your avatar. Deal with it.
