Well that sucks. I still can't understand why people bother producing such low res desktops. Don't most everyone's monitors go up much higher? And if even that wasn't the case, computers can scale images to fit...

Well, in this particular case, I would venture to guess that the guy who made it had to paint over a few parts of the original scan. Having it in higher resolution would make those parts too obvious.
