I had more fun that day shitting my pants from joy and interacting with other gaffers than actually playing that piece of shite "remake", "Black" my friggin' white arse.

I agree with how you feel about this, but technically that's not fair to Jeff Grubb. It was that twitter/reddit leaker guy who kept updating everyone that it would be March/April. All Jeff Grubb did was re-confirm that it still existed since the other guy was wrong about which specific week, and another guy(or the same guy) deleted his profile after he turned out to be wrong on when. The twitter leaker was literally off by 3 weeks.

From the screenshots and everything, it should be a remake cause it looks like how Resident Evil Remake was to RE1 so not sure why they calling it a remaster.

Remaster is more like the Thing remaster, Legacy of Kain remaster, GTA trilogy remaster, Oot and Mm remaster etc.

High tier remaster is something like Saints Row the Third but this Oblivion Remaster looks even more impressive than that.

They have delayed the Xbox Spring Sale much longer than usual. It might start on Monday. That's at least some small measure of a coincident occurrence.
