We are looking for talented, experienced developers to join our growing team and help define the next generation of role playing games.
Entry-level Programmer
Obsidian is currently looking for talented entry-level programmers for our upcoming games. The ideal candidates possess a strong work ethic, excellent problem solving skills, have the ability to deliver on time and work well in a team environment. No industry experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates who submit sample code, game demos or modifications.
Requirements:
An avid gamer with a passion for making games.
Proficiency in C/C++.
Strong math skills, particularly as it relates to 3D games and basic game physics.
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering.
Working knowledge of OpenGL, Direct3D or Cg is a plus.
Experience in cross-platform development, 3D graphics, audio, AI, physics, animation or network programming is a plus.
Console or embedded systems programming experience is a plus.
