I picked up Ocean's Twelve went it came out on DVD recently... the wife and I watched it yesterday...

OK... so they all started spending the money like crazy, but Benedict did not find out it was them until the Night Wolf busted them... or did he find out becuase they were spending like crazy?

Night Wolf was setting them up, but they were in turn working with main dad/thief... so they all got caught on purpose just to steal the egg earlier in the movie that we see in flashback...

Also too many back in time pick-ups to fill us in...

I really need to watch it again to catch everything... I really like the way all of these actors work together, but the story is iffy... needs another viewing...

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The screenplay wasn't written originally for Ocean's 12. It was a John Woo film originally or something. That movie didn't pan out and it was re-tooled to fit the Ocean's 11 cast. I thought it pretty much sucked. Not even close to Ocean's 11. The best part was the Topher Grace scene in the hotel.

first of all night fox gave benedict their locations, thats what they were talking about when they said breaking rule one. night fox was mad because lemarc couldnt say that he was the best thief

Ocean's 12 was not nearly as good as Ocean's 11. I felt cheated that we didn't actually see the caper until the end, in a flashback.

Anyway, yeah the Night Fox gave up Ocean's 11 to Benedict so that he could lure them into a contest. He wanted to prove that he was the best thief in the world, which in fact, he really was, as he didn't need a whole team around him.

The movie is not that hard to follow...

Nitewolf called Benedict, as seen in flashback, and told him where the 11 were.

When LeMarc told his US business associate that Ocean was the better theif, that set Nightwolf on his quest to destroy him.

Rusty called LeMarc when at the train station, and was told about the egg. Everything else after that was an elaborate game to make the Nitewolf think he was winning.

I honestly enjoyed the movie a lot. Wasnt as good as O11, but when is a sequel ever as good as the original...

Like I said, I need to watch it again...

We watched the first hour while our daughter napped... we watched the last half od the movie after I painted our daughters new bedroom, watched a Bulls win, had five-six beers with the buddies while playing Texas Hold 'Em... I won $60...

So I was buzzed for the ending... and why was Erin Brackavich's boss what's-her-name's dad?

And why is Bruce Willis in Amsterdam? Vacation? Filming a movie? Bad cameo option?

With that caliber of cast it's hard not to enjoy it. The ending was absolute drivel though. It's was like one of those stories were at the end the guy wakes up and it was all a dream. Total bullshit! We were just pretending we're already the best.

Movie definitely wasn't as amazing as the previous one(or the original 11 for that matter) but was still a great watch. I loved the soundtrack to the movie, especially the song when the Night Fox was doing his raid, haha.

The plot itself wasn't that great, it seemed the movie was more about the interplay between the stars which was just golden.

I liked 12 but yeah, it was not as good as 11.

I got a bit lost after the 1st viewing at the theater but got it all the 2nd time.

I saw Ocean's 12 last weekend, it's the worst movie I've seen this year.
