We all know there's been talk about an October Surprise in that the US will capture Bin Laden and possibly Ayan al-Zawahiri right before the elections. There's been speculation and "proof" running rampant so i'm not going to concentrate so much on how or who...but just the "when" or the "if".

So Bush and Kerry supporter alike. Do you think this will happen? If so, when?

I'll place a nickel on October 27th

Nader supporter here, and the actual surprise will come in November when it's revealed that yes, there are enough idiots in this country to re-elect George W. Bush. Or enough idiots to not pay attention when Liebald, er I mean Diebold rigs the election with their evil machines.

Notice there isn't an arrow next to Bush. Seens like a good thing right? But what if I mark kerry? Will the optical scanner just assume the first arrow really means Bush?

Weren't replacement ballots already mailed out? At least I think I remember reading it in that thread about those screwed up ballots.

What I find just as sad is the "vote a party line" option. I don't care which party you vote for, there will be someone on the ticket who is an extremely poor choice. I almost wish the voting material would not list party designation...uninformed voters seem much scarier to me than those who don't vote.
