Listening to their "sunlandic twins" album, "the repudiated immortals" is a great song. I just haddta share it with ya'll. Try and take a listen to that song somehow.

I love the clarity of the singer's voice... and the harmonies are as sweet as the beach boys. any other fans?

I have a bunch of their stuff on my computer right now and have really liked what I've heard. I recommend the entire Satanic Panic in the Attic album as well as Sunlandic Twins. I actually can't believe that a group with such perfect pop melodies hasn't gotten more attention from people.

They tend to go into sugary sweet headache territory for me on occasion, but some of their songs hit the right balance. Their live show was pretty good when I saw them during their Satanic Panic in the Attic tour, though. Listen to Jennifer Louise if you haven't heard their older stuff before.

I've never heard any of their albums besides their latest. I do know some local DJ's who play their stuff, and I've always enjoyed that.

Yes. Bout time you bastards recognize. Everytime they get brought up it's "I didn't like that wierd shit they started with" coupled with one or two "hey this is good" from the people who actually listen to their newer stuff.

Not that the old stuff is bad, just less totally fucking amazing.

IMO, The Gay Parade is their best record...

and Nickee Coco and the Invisible Tree is one of my favorite songs.

they're playing here early may and i've been thinking about going. i've heard a few songs and couldn't really get into it... maybe i should try listening to "that newer stuff" son of godzilla mentioned

Yes, Satanic Panic in the Attic is very awesome. I've wanted to get Gay Parade for a while but I guess I'll have to order it. Next time I go to a record store though, I'm buying the Sunlandic Twins. I love it when I read Pitchfork or some other music site and it completely surprises me with a new release by a cool band.
