week 1 schedule is back up. enjoy the new division layouts (some of the week 1 matchups did change)

also, as a side note, i am going to do my best to have each team get 5 home games, and 5 away games but the schedule generator i WAS using is for NFL schedule with bye weeks, so it doesn't help me at all here. if you notice any huge issues w/ your schedule tell me about it. the rest of the schedules probably wont be up till tomorrow.

also, just for this first game, please either have EA email you the game stats or write down all the game stats. the reason being is that i still haven't gotten the site owner to upgrade my Game Stat section to 30 fields, so things like turnover differential, fumbles, etc. are not in yet. but we can input them later so long as you get the stats down! i know its a pain, but its only for the first game. after that you can enter the stats right into the system.

I know it's on All American, but are the games ranked games or unranked? 5 minutes? 5 Minutes seems long, but stat wise is low. Meh.

I still say "all the time" vision cone is unattainable. And is DLine spreading effecting blocking anymore? How tested is the new version of NCAA/Madden in regards to this? I understand running up the score, manual blitzing, limiting the slot corner rout, and Vick Ball.

Congrats to Lonestar for taking me out. He beat me in a tight game 27-21.

However, I have to say that I saw a fair amount of bullshit in the game. There were 7 seconds left and Lonestar was punting to me. He took a delay of game penalty, and the game clock ****ING STARTED after the delay of game, so the game ended without me even having a chance to block the punt. Absolute and total bullshit.

Also, I have serious reservations about the ****ing passing cone. THREE TIMES in the game, it glitched when I was using the cone and the QB would NOT release the ball. One time this happened at the end of the 1st half when I was in the red zone and at least could've had a chance for a field goal attempt. This was absolute bullshit that had a significant impact on the game.

Of course, I had my chances and turned the ball over 3 times, twice on an option, so I have no one to blame but myself, but it is very frustrating for these glitches to impact a league game. I would've been just as annoyed if it had been the other way around and Lonestar took the hit.

Argh!!! 0-1...

go to leaguedaddy and go to your teams page. there should be a link for Stat Sheet. its not the greatest but it helps. Im probably gonna make my own for this league. I need something that will be similar to the screens we actually see in game. last time I was in a league I had to jump around too much just to get all the stats quickly.

I think it should be mandatory that everyone go to their owner profile and put in as much contact and scheduling info as possible. that would make it so much easier when you see you have a game against a certain team you can just click on the owners name link and get AIM, gamertag and work hours etc. anyone who doesnt do this should be kicked from the league for being lazy.

yeah...****ing cone. I WAS getting plenty pissed off, every 3rd down, you found a way to get a 1st down...16 first downs to my 5! And I hope I used the cone all the time, seemed like in the rush of things, I have no clue if I have it up or not.

Lots of long punt returns. I learned on that last one mmlemay, I ran #3 up towards the returner, then clicked OFF him, and let the CPU take you down

Kenny Effin Irons. OMG, and my fumble on the wide open end zone at the beginning of the game. I just got lucky you had to punt from your end zone, it counter balanced all the fumbles (I was down there on your fumble, I fumbled, etc) Hard fought game, and you kept getting those damn 3rd down conversions... 9 of 11, holy fcuk...

Oh yeah, where is punting on the stat sheet???

FMT,

1. Fumble Recoveries are not in the post-game stats.
2. Leaguedaddy is missing some players, like Auburn's f'n QB (Brandon Cox, #12). How can we fix this? I assume it will be an issue for all teams, because Auburn's list is fairly out of date in some areas, although I only found two omissions so far.
3. Can you post the schedule for the upcoming weeks? Due to my schedule and not being able to play Monday-Wednesday, I would like to make sure I get at least two games in every weekend.

**** EA for making a game that is sooooo close to being great but has just a few things dragging it down! Everyone check out the Iron Bowl stats and recap here. I will quote my story for the lazy:

Riding high on the sweet success of their first victory over Alabama in a pre-season scrimmage, Auburn acted like a bunch of fools in the first half, turning the ball over twice on botched option attempts while Alabama went ahead for a 13-0 lead thanks to an interception return for a TD and a bomb to the speedster DJ Hall (22). The only bright spot for Auburn was a blocked PAT that was almost returned all the way until the speedy Hall ran down the pokey Auburn strong safety. Auburn's potential scoring drive late in the first half was stalled in the red zone thanks to a vision cone glitch that glued the ball into Auburn QB Brandon Cox's hand.

In comparison to the first half, the second half was a shootout thanks to Auburn abandoning all attempts at running the option in exchange for old-school power football and the occasional deep ball. After racing to a 14-13 lead, Auburn could not hold on as Alabama scored 14 unanswered points thanks to some good field position and solid running game. Auburn made a valiant attempt to come back but the Alabama secondary was too strong. Auburn cut the lead to 27-21 with 45 seconds remaining and two timeouts, but Alabama was able to hold onto the ball after three straight running plays. After taking a delay of game penalty, Auburn thought that they had one last-ditch effort to win the game by attempting a punt block, but the glitchfest that is NCAA 2007 on the Xbox 360 ruined this attempt by restarting the game clock following the delay of game penalty. Thanks, EA!

Congrats to Lonestar for an enjoyable game that was marred only by the final result, a loss for the mighty Auburn Tigers.

it was a good game though. Slow in the first half, then back and forth in the 2nd. The timing on the kicks for some reason f*cked me up (there must be some lag with the meters online) and i shanked a kickoff, a punt, and 2 f*cking potentially easy field goals (and i lost by four )

did you get all the team stats? I got 2 ints on you, right? I got everything but my INTs and first downs. I f*cked up and only wrote down my offensive stats, i didn't think we had to do ALL the stats, but i'll do it right next game.
