Been checking joblo for any new movie trailers and surprisingly a lot of good stuff have been released lately. And after the Over the Hedge thread has no replies so far, and I had an urge to post quite a few trailers, I thought I may as well make an official movie trailer thread. Should work better than one movie that people don't know by the title yet even. I got high hopes for these..
Syriana Trailer (George Clooney, Matt Damon, Jeffrey Wright, Amanda Peet, and Chris Cooper) In theaters December 2005.
Jarhead (Jake Gyllenhaal, Peter SarsGaard, Chris Cooper, and Jamie Foxx) From the Director of American Beauty. Looks like it has some pretty surreal imagery. In theaters November 2005.
Match Point (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Scarlett Johansson, Emily Mortimer Directed by Woody Allen and a huge hit at the Cannes Film Festival. In theaters December 25th, 2005.
Over The Hedge (Bruce Willis, Steve Carrell, William Shatner, Nick Nolte, Wanda Sykes, and Avril Lavigne) This one probably won't be good but it looks better than Madagscar. The beginning gets me hopeful but it's the lame shit like the "burp the alphabets" at the end that is the center of these movies. They just can't tell a story like Pixar. Anyway.. In Theaters May 2006.
Curious George (Will Ferrell, Drew Barrymore) This one I'm glad about simply for being a 2D animation. The art style looks pretty cool, but as far as the movie being good.. That's up in the air. In theaters February 2006.
