Real or fake. Nostradamus of our time or wannabe. Whatever you call her, you have to admit, it's fun to ponder her musings! I'll post up her predictions and we'll keep score of how many of these she gets right and wrong.
The object of this thread is to discuss her predictions and come to a conclusion of "TRUE" or "FALSE". Sorta like the way the Discovery Channel's Myth Busters bust Myths, we'll see if her predictions can be busted. If you want to dispute one of her listed predictions as TRUE or FALSE, post up which one and provide some sort of evidence or logic behind your reasoning. We'll all examine it and try to agree on a conclusion. Once a conclusion has been reached, I'll list the conclusion next to the prediction and update the score card.
I'll keep an eye and ear out for her upcoming year predictions and post a list of those too if I can find. If we find that a prediction for the new year contradicts a prediction of the previous year (e.g. Claiming cows will fly in 2000 and then claiming cows will fly in 2006), we'll deem them as FALSE.
The MISCELLANEOUS BANTER section contains things that may or may not be predictions. These are just things that she's claiming. If we find in the future that some of these things are proven or disproven, we'll start counting them on the score card.
Just keep in mind, I'm not an advocate of Sylvia Browne, nor do I believe she's the real deal. I'm just someone who's trying to remain open-minded and playing Devil's Advocate, mainly because I like to rock the boat
. So if we end up in a heated debate, don't take it personal. I just want to make sure we've examined as many avenues as possible so we can reach a proper conclusion. It's all in good fun. =P

3. Elizabeth Taylor will experience serious health issues (or even death) in 2005.
4. Britney Spears will have a baby with Kevin. But the marriage will not last more than two years. They will break up.
5. Yet she also predicted that 2005 will be a better year than 2004. The economy will rebound a bit in the beginning of the year and then pick up more steam by mid-year. Unemployment will go down, and in the stock market, the medical technology field will do particularly well.
6. Weather-wise, Florida and North Carolina will be hit hard in 2005.
7. Demi Moore will have Ashton Kutcher baby.
8. There will be a scandal relating to president bush or someone in his family.
9. The US troops will not be home from Iraq until 2006.
10. Mount St Helens will blow this year or within 18 months.
11. Saddam Hussein will be dead before his trial.
