SummerSlam fallout
August 22, 2005

Just one day after SummerSlam, there’s no telling what kind of fireworks will be seen on RAW.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair will be Carlito's guest on the Cabana, which will be an unpredictable event, to say the least.

Hulk Hogan, despite being bloodied, defeated Shawn Michaels in a historic main event at SummerSlam.

Meanwhile, John Cena defended the WWE Championship by defeating Chris Jericho. Edge beat Matt Hardy after referee Chad Patton decided a bloody Hardy could no longer continue.

Also, Kurt Angle defeated Eugene and took his Gold Medal back.
Clearly, there should be plenty going down one day after an incredible SummerSlam 2005.

You also won’t want to miss Ashley in her first full Monday night as a RAW Diva! Tune in to Spike TV at 9/8 CT for all this and more!

I wonder what they'll do with HBK now? :(

Who cares.

They went from HBK as Rebirth of the Heel Jehovah™ to Bible Fighter 2K3 in less than a week. I won't be watching.

For you Bish,

So happy I was there.

It was great and I will cherish this raw as probably the last great legacy bible fighter 2k3 gave us.

Stephanie is I believe.
I think he means if they're actually on the show and a PART of the on-screen stories.

(Note: Steph is the head of the creative department in WWE. And she sucks at her job. )

Are Vince and his family still involved in the wresting storylines?
If you mean as part of the show, then no. Though Vince does show up every once in a while to make some kind of administrative announcement or something along those lines. I don't think Stephanie and Shane have been on TV in a couple years now (or maybe my mind has lost all conception of time, which is also possible).

Shane fucking owned on WWE TV. Personality, could actually sort of wrestle, and took all those high bumps. the one jump off the titantron comes to mind

He actually did own. He showed up during the Kane unmasking storyline and had a feud with him after Kane tombstoned Linda, but since then, he hasn't shown up AT ALL (well, there was one time. Remember when Vince was threatening to fire Bischoff if he didn't turn RAW around?

This scene took place right outside vince's limo:

Bischoff: There's NO ONE who could replaceme as general manager of RAW!
Vince: Oh, really? *opens door to limo*
*Shane McMahon calmly steps out of the limo and stares at bischoff, but doesn't say a word*

That's the only time he's been on TV since the Kane feud.

MEh....Watch some heel like Carlito come out and tell HBK what a loser he is..Spawning some lame ass feud.

Hit it right on the spot :lol :lol :lol

I take it back.

Nothing can bring an HBK promo to a screetching halt like Masters.

His music is akin to a blackout in the arena.

Why the hell is there a 3 person announce team????

Coach sucks
Been that way for a while now.. hopefully they're slowly trying to phase out either JR or King... or both..

OK....I'm going to post my cell phone number....Somoeone call me if any of the following happens:

1.HBK makes another heel turn.
2.HHH returns
3.The Rock comes out(as a heel)
4. Theres a Fatal 4 way between John Cena, Gene Snitksy, Chris Masters, and The Big show...And Mohhamed Hassan car bombs the match..

so that's how they're getting rid of jericho for a while

*Jericho Loses*

*Vince comes out*

"HEY, This was a "You'e fired!" match, wasn't it? The loser gets fired. *Turns to Chris Jericho* Chris Jeircho? YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUU'RE FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRED!"

Angle v. Benjamin = match of the year!

Both of 'em worked really well throughout...seriously, bring me MORE of these quality matches.

In other news, this is the first night that Rhodes worked on writing. Hrrrm....

*sniff* I smell rivalry...

Angle's match victory celebration with the awarding of the medal rocks. :) And yes, that match was better than the whole PPV.

Actually, I think Benjamin/HBK was better. Maybe only because of the spot that ended the match, if you remember, Shelton was trying a flying Lariat off the rops and HBK hit some Sweet Chin Music to take his head off. But his was a good match as well.

If Dusty booking means we get longer matches like that, I am fully is support of it.

Snitsky is pathetic. I think his body pimples look like constellations. I guess the WWE thinks no one notices. What's his daily steroid habit? 5 or 6 injections in the butt?
