i don't mind. i like that the joycons don't slide in anymore and now attach with magnets. and the blue/orange stick highlights are nice. larger screen is cool but sadly it'll probably be LCD.

I get that being bigger means a better screen, bigger more comfortable joycon, and more space inside to pack components. I still wish it was smaller, not bigger. The closer we get to a Switch Lite with TV out, the happier I'll be.

Yeah, that is a huge improvement. My son slid in one of the joycons into its grip the wrong way round and now I do not know how to take it out of the grip. LCD is truly sad as even lower mid-range Android these days ship with OLEDs. For example, the Motorola edge 50 neo which costs around 250USD in India comes with LTPO Oled display boasting 3000 nits of peak brightness and 1 Hz-144 Hz variable refresh rate.

I admit it does look very similar.

Nintendo should have used the DS clamshell design, but with two 11inch OLED screens. That would have made it stand out.

i hated how the joycons would creek and move about when clipped in. hopefully these new ones feel more solid.

if they offered a "Pro" model with OLED i'd get that but we all know they will release a revised model after a couple years with OLED.

i need a white model so it ties in with my setup . hopefully we have white and black models to start with they can add the crazy colours later .

there are lots of leaks showing white models. OG switch launched in grey/neon. would be odd if they only released a single black model.

A more powerful switch is enough for me to buy it day 1. I hope they have beefed up the haptics engine to be on par with/better than the dualsense.
