First I schedule Verizon Fios for install next Thursday, then I get a call that my car is ready....Damn that was fast, they've only had the car since last Thursday and at first they told us there were not even sure if they'd be able to get the parts quickly because the car was so new....go to pick it up this eve! My only disappointment is that I didn't have time to rent the Maxima....

what did they have to replace?

Front bumper, there's a support that runs right behind the bumper, emblem, license bracket, radiator, one radiator shroud, compressor.... hood latch.... I think there's a few more pieces but that's all I remember from the top of my memory.....

probably a stupid question that i should know, but does the fact that its been in an accident decrease the car's value?

Potentially.... if a car is in an accident and the claim for it is over $1,000(I think that's the value), it gets reported via carfax.... that can have an adverse effect on the trade in value. And the next obvious question, no I believe this claim came in just under $1,000.

Darien, what kind of car do you drive? You still have a Honda Accord? If so, was it the new model?

'04 Galant.

Good deal. A reputable body shop can really get shit done fast if you seem like a good customer. I just hope they, you know, painted everything...

'05 Galant and it looks brand f*ckin new...again, they did an absolutely AWESOME job... replaced everything that needed to be replace... they even took the time to pull, bang out and straighten the front license plate and put it back on. It was mangled in to a ball because it collapsed around the trailer hitch of the SUV the missus rear ended. I couldn't believe they took the time to even do that.
