It is running on Sega's new Lindberg arcade board which is a PC made up of a 3GHz Pentium 4 an unnamed nVidia GPU that supports SM3.0 (so NV40 or better) and 1 gig of (slow ass) RAM.....
Its nice hardware but still inferior to both X360 and PS3 in my view...
I still can't believe Sega didn't just wait six months and release these games on an arcade version of X360 instead......they could have easily prototyped the games on Alpha kits (just like all other X360 devs) and still have most of the horsepower of Lindberg (G5+ATI X800+512MB GDDR)....
Surely Segas Lindberg games are notable more for their art than their tech......and games like After Burner , PS3 and VF5 have a good amount of intrest from console gamers anyway....
BUT NOOOOOOOOO....Sega will have to rewrite a large portion of these games to port them to PS3 or X360 or both.......
