ONE PIECE: Season 2 | official Teaser |

Looks great, I really enjoyed the first season so I'm definitely gonna be checking this out. Robins casting is also really good and in general the other character adaptations are good looking.

I don't remember the source material for this part. It has been ages ago since I've seen it.

Either way, I'll be there day one. Really liked season one.

Are they skipping sir Crocodile, or am i misremembering in witch order it took place?

Smoker was previously shown in the previous trailer and they hid him in this one.

I suspect they're keeping Crocodile hidden too.

I actually didn't know they casted Joe Manganiello for Crocodile. That's fucking on spot.

how far is this going to cover? I'm 200 episodes into the anime (of 1150ish) and everything they showed in that trailer was like... way long ago, like episodes 60 - 100ish.

I have not seen the trailer yet, but I assume season 2 will end at the conclusion of Drum Island. Season 3 will be all about Alabasta.
I hear rumors that thats it. No season 4. :(

I remember reading on reddit rumors 2 months ago that they were looking at getting the show through Waters 7 arch for a sorta clean "series finale" feel. I know Season 4's approval is completely based on season 2's performance.

Regardless the shows Season 1 did the job and made me interested enough to start watching all the animes :), and they are good thankfully, so we'll always have them. Also for anyone who liked the show, I highly recommend jumping on the anime, it can have some filler, but damn if it gets damn good during the Alabasta arch.

I never watched the anime but I highly reccomand the manga and to people reading the manga for the first time, start from the beginning due to the Live Action One Piece show changing up the order of some events. I do get why they do that, that manga is in the 1100 when it comes to the number of chapters.

Yeah, honestly, after watching so much of the anime (and knowing its way closer to the manga) I can see why they moved things like Garp the Fist up so far, I think it was a great change and helped keep things flowing better. As so far, the beginning is the worst part of the story (and im not calling it bad! just its one of the few animes I've found where the begining is the weakest, not the best part of the story). The show did a good job of spicing it up a bit and moving it along faster.

I read the manga for the first time two years ago, it took me three months to actually catch up. And in terms of whether I think the manga or Netflix Live Action Show is better, I would say that the manga is way better. I don't hate the show, it's actually good. Yes the East Blue Saga kind of starts out boring but for me it starts to pick up with the Baratie Arc. For me the arc I found the weakest was Skypiea, I just found that arc to be dragged out for way too long. Funny enough though, it introduced one of my favorite One Piece Villains with Blackbeard. As for the Netflix show I do agree that they pace it pretty well but that's because it's a show, they can't adapt all 1100+ chapers into a 30 Season show for live action. Totally diferent beasts.

Instead of them stopping at Water 7, it would be interesting to see them adapt the Marineford Arc as the last season of this show. That Arc is still my favorite Arc in the manga and man is it crazy with the reveals, battles, double spreads, twists, etc.

Tony Tony Chopper is my favorite character from the manga. It looks like they are doing him justice in the live action show. I do have my issues with the show regarding certain things but overal the show is good. But that's thanks to Oda, he actually is involved

My prediction for the final season count is gonna to be around 8 to 12 Seasons tops

Than they do a new show with the cast being older after the time skip so they could possibly cast older actors to fit those roles
