I'll try and pick this up sometime this weekend (busy as all hell). If I'm lucky, this will unseat Blackwater Park as their masterpiece. I still listen to that CD at least once a week.

Of course I bought it yesterday. Like all Opeth albums with an initial listening, I'm not feeling this one. Opeth always grows on me though. I do like it better than both Deliverance and Damnation. I think all the other ones are better than this one.

Still, buy it.

If you loved Blackwater Park for the sheer amount of acoustic-ness in the album, then you might not like Ghost Reveries as much. It isn't nearly as acoustic as Blackwater Park. It does have more clean vocals, though. In general, the album is more aggressive.
