Speedrunners and YouTube creators: "we will never stop playing this game"
Nintendo in 1995: "we don't know what we are doing lmao"

that was interesting, kinda crazy the game just shipped like this, walls just "randomly" appearing is wild; the entire tick tock clock area is filled with invisible obstacles lol, and those invisible walls with the overhead hang to the star is just pure evil, I think I actually remember falling down there repeatedly.

3 and 3/4 hours???
He explains the phenomenon at the start of the video, and then proceed to list EVERY SINGLE glitchy wall of the whole game in excruciating details. It's just padded content and uninteresting unless you're an active TAS runner looking for those walls.

Still, that's pretty crazy to see how utterly glitched the game is. It's a small miracle that this janky af collision detection code worked just barely enough to ship the game.

Wow. Not going to watch all that, but just from skimming that is a real Mario nerd right there.

Makes you think about all the intricacies that go into making these 3d games run. No wonder the credits lists are always so long.

bruh what is up with mario 64 and its programming?!!? Are we just simulations running on mario 64? All the parallel universe shenanigans... was the n64 a quantum computer?

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
Amazing video. This is such a fascinating and in-depth look into how Mario 64’s geometry works. Absolutely worth every second of watching.
