PEGGLE. NIGHTS. STEAM. OUT. NOW.

Peggle Extreme was a Half Life themed mini add on Pop Cap made for Valve when you get the orange box.

Peggle Nights is basically the full on sequel of Peggle Deluxe.

It makes this horrible long nights at work really short :)

If you still haven't buy a version of peggle you are an idiot and don't know anything about games. Fact.

I beat Deluxe last night. Convince me to buy more Peggle.

You get to see the DREAMS of all the creatures who helped you out in PEGGLE, and one brand new creature as well! Don't you want to know about their aspirations and what they want from life?

Plus more levels of Peggle goodness cannot be beat. Casual gaming at its finest!

I beat Extreme, it was ok. I don't know if I would pay $10 for more Peggle, but I'm definitely considering it at that price.

Peggle Extreme isn't a full game. It's an add on about 1/8 the size of Peggle Deluxe.

Grab Peggle Deluxe as well.

Loved the first, the second is more of the same. I guess I like it.

Picking up Peggle Deluxe over the weekend via Steam was probably my smartest purchase of the year, as soon as I finish it I'll move on to Nights. Does anyone know of a way to get Peggle Extreme without buying The Orange Box? I already have it on 360, but Half-Life themed Peggle is something I really have to play.

If your PC has an NVidia card in it, use this link:
http://www.steampowered.com/nvidia/

You might also get it this way if you have an ATI card, but could be that that's just Deathmatch/Lost Coast:

Heh, I got this last night on Steam but totally forgot to play it. Can you change the screen resolution in this one? That's literally the only thing that wasn't perfectly awesome about Deluxe.

Like Deluxe, you can't change the resolution.

I just finished the Unicorn and Hamster stages. The puzzles seem to be a little more difficult than before, which is good!

Mr Unicorn wants to be a crime fighting superhero at night. Help clean up the streets like Batman. Mr. Hamster is dreaming about becoming a scientist...perhaps he will be able to create some major vaccines down the road?! Hopefully no evil doer peers into the dreams of Mr Hamster and attempts to force his scientistry down the path of crime....then Mr. Unicorn would have to stop his friend in an attempt to save the world. This would be sad seeing friend have to fight friend. :(

This casual non-game crap is ruining the industry!

I know you're joking, but Peggle is unquestionably a real game, as opposed to something like Brain Age. Peggle is super simple, but it is a game by any traditional definition.

(Btw, I like Brain Age too.)

Yep, the game is great. Worth it at full price and definitely at $10. I beat the story mode and I'm about halfway through all the challenges.

Should you get Deluxe first or just skip to Nights? I finally played the 10 stage demo that came with Orange Box yesterday (yeaaaah it took me a little while to get to it ^^;) and it was fun although my one question is, is there really much skill involved? Winning stages or losing stage for me seemed entirely based on random luck of if I land in the free ball catcher a few times. I'm sure there's some strategy and skill involved, but I wasn't really sure how to approach it.

Still I'm willing to give the full version of either Deluxe or Nights a try.

Go with Deluxe first...then get Nights.

There is some luck involved, but once you get into the groove you'll be bouncing shots around the map like a pro. Not only this, all the creatures in the game have a special ability you will want to use to help clear maps.

Sorta. At first it's all just mashing the button and shiny lights but eventually you'll be forced to implement strategies to get through levels and analyze the board. There's still a big pile of luck controlling everything but it's not all just PRESS BUTAN.
