I just finished my playthrough of P3R and man this game is still so good all these years later, it just has soul in a way that no other game does, not even the later Personas although they are good in their own way. Total 10/10 classic, I love this game so much.

I'm going to go through The Answer now and we'll see.

I beat p3r last year, but still haven't gotten around to playing the answer. I've heard nothing but negative things about the original fes version.

Yea, me too. From what I understand, it's more or less a straight dungeon crawl, so if you don't like the P3 combat it's not going to land. Like I said, we'll see.

I played through the Answer in P3R at launch.
True it's a long dungeon but the story + new character and music are worth it and it was a fun experience for me.

That's pretty much what it is. No social link elements etc, very little 'out of dorm' stuff. It's mostly just a set of dungeon crawls with narrative to complete the story and answer some of the questions folks might have at what happened at the end of P3 with the protagonist and stuff.

I think it's worth it for the narrative alone, personally.
