An offline Persona 5: The Phantom X event was held with Sega, Atlus and Perfect World games in Shanghai on July 12, 2024. Persona 5X producer Lao V, Japanese producer Yosuke Uda and Atlus character designer Shigenori Soejima were in attendance and discussed behind the scenes stories, future plans and other stories.

An excerpt of some of what was discussed has been published online, and includes discussion of various future plans for the game. The answers provided confirm an international release for the game, and that a version for consoles will be released in the future.

Sega had previously stated that an international version was under consideration, with Atlus’ 2024 Consumer Survey asking about interest in the game

  • The Persona 5 pyramid and space station chapters will be made available after the summer events.
  • There are long term plans for further Persona series collaborations. Currently the plan is for collaborations with Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload and Persona 4 Golden in that order.
