While it would be for the best, I'm still hoping for a more in depth Social Link system in the game, and if they have to do everything twice........
I'd rather they just flat out do a female protagonist in the first place. Or at least give us a female magician-like character you can't romance, but fits the "goofy best friend" role.

I don't think roles should be applied to arcana either! Junpei and Yosuke are pretty much the same type of character...Yuka Ayase is nothing like em!

How bout the week ends the time I wake up on Tuesday, that will make it simple for everyone involved and everyone gets the entire Monday! Thing is, I wake up on random times, could wake up at 8 am, could wake up at 12 pm! I am in eastern standard time btw, Florida.

I don't necessarily mind the idea of roles, and they CAN be more varied than they have been. Rise is a more open Lovers, and Yukari is a much more closed one, and the difference between them is their pasts, which makes perfect sense. Fuuka and Yukiko are also fairly different. It's really only Yosuke and Junpei that are too alike, and I think that was deliberate. P3 and P4 SPOILZ
Junpei's massive growth comes from when Chidori dies after all, and Yosuke has his story pretty much START with this with Saki. I don't know what Yosuke was like before Saki's death, but it was probably similar enough to Junpei that I think that's what they were going for.
Of course, they also don't have to stick with the same arcanas either. Chie was a nice change since P3 didn't have a Chariot for example, and neither have had party members of quite a few arcana. Still would be interesting to see, for example, status ailments play a larger role in the battles, so we can have a character of the Hermit arcana.

Aigis is the Chariot, her Social Link is just the Aeon because it was added later.
Concerning if there should be a choice of genders in P5, I say absolutely. There should be a choice, no ifs ands or buts about it as far as I'm concerned. If they plan on going forward with the importance of personal choice that they did in P3 and P4, then I see it as a necessity.

So Florida is Gmt +4, for reference, if Buddha wakes up at 8am that's midday for us in the UK. Not trying to sound biased or anything since I'm from England but having the cut off being Tuesday 12pm gmt, would make it perfect for everyone to calculate their own times.

I'm definitely hoping for some new Arcanas in the party members. Hermit would be really cool. For a Hermit party member, I'd love it if they were a S.Link before they joined you. So they show up and you help them get out of their hermit-y shell, and then after a certain point they get a Persona and join you.
In general though, I'd like to see Persona party members foreshadowed a bit more before joining. A lot of the party members in P4 especially are basically introduced immediately before they get kidnapped.

Elizabeth's final date, and it really only hedges out Aigis because
actual sex took place instead of just sexy circuit touching.
I'm ex-Florida to boot. It's just a good state for the most part.
Well, I mean, all of the final dates with romantic S Links can be interpreted as sexual or not, I think. And I like that bit of ambiguity. Makes it feel less sleazy than most videogame romance arcs, where it feels like you're playing for some awful sex scene at the end.

Yeah, but Elizabeth's final date makes is way more blatant than the rest. "You spent some time with X" can be interpreted as anything. Maybe they just watched some Netflix together, who knows. "I know what happens when a girl invites herself to a guy's room. Will you guide me through it?" is pretty damn direct and can only really be interpreted as one thing.
California is the only state to be from tbh
But I mean, even that could be that they made out or whatever, right?

The ones in 3 seem a lot more ambiguous than in 4 (particularly the Christmas Eve dates).
However, I believe that the meaning of Elizabeth's last date is very clear.

Well in the beginning of the request, Elizabeth herself said that she's not blind to the fact that she requested to see a man's room. There is only one thing that could happen if you are in a guy's room, especially when you're not even sure if you can visit it again. After the "event" Elizabeth said that she's not the same Elizabeth anymore, so they definitely did the deed.
As for Aigis, her Rank 10 doesn't sound sexual at all to me. Well, except for the part when she said "In case I made weird sounds." Just touching a robot's circuit sounds like touching a bunch of cables and get yourself electrocuted.

On the Christmas Eve date with Naoto, it ends with the watch she gave you, that keeps track of how far away you are with her, saying "<1m" so the evidence is there (they could be just hugging, which is more believable imo). Plus everyone asks to spend the night in your room, which didn't happen in P3. A teenage couple spending the night together on Christmas Eve and nothing happened? So, I can understand why people would think it's more suggestive.

Sure, I think it's valid. Personally, I didn't find them particularly suggestive, though. Some of the P3 ones have a heavy suggestion that something happened, whereas the P4 ones could have absolutely gone either way.
Well, the Persona 1 arcanas generally have very little to do with their respective characters. Yuka Ayase does not embody the Magician Arcana at all, for instance.
