Hrm.. I have this long panormaic shot that curves up and down in all these random directions because of the stitching it went through, is there anyway I can select the image and create multiple free transform points other than the default four that pop up when I try to modify the shape?

I don't think there is, and even if there were, I don't think such linear distortion methods are the best for quality results.

I don't have CS (use 7.0), so I may be wrong though.

Hrm.. thanks -- I was hoping I could, but after not running into any tutorials with anything similar, I decided to ask here. I know the quality would suck, but when I transfer the image to premiere, I want the camera to follow the curve of the scene... video effect it comes with only allows me to choose a diagonal or straight away -- unless someone can help me out and let me know if there is a way to get the camera to pan along a certain path in premiere pro rather than the defaul "left, down, up, right" options that are listed, I'm fresh out of ideas. Any help is greatly appreciated ^_^

Shogs already got it handeled. But like he said you're pretty much screwed once it's stitched together to form the one image. You're left with just the exterior transform points to play with.

Only thing you could do id to slice it back up...

I tried slicing it, it came out uglier than I would have imaged.. lol -- The panormaic shot was from a following a pathway down a hill.... I wanted the effect of following the image down the slope.. only problem is that I can't seem to get it to pan exaclty how I want... I assumed that premiere would be able to handle that :) That's what I get for working on a project that;s due today over the weekend with brand new software I don't know how to use. lol

It might be a waste of time, but why don't you give the ol' Liquify filter a go? You've got nothing to lose, it sound like.

Liquify filter? I'll check it out, how does it work?

It does tons of things. Too many to go into, but some of them will let you distort sections of images in a more curved manner.

Yeah, Liquify filter was the first thing that came to mind when you asked the question. It works kinda like Kai Power Goo if you've ever used that. I would however suggest some altogether different software for this problem. Which software, I don't know, but I remember I had some kind of image morphing software on Amiga that had the exact option you described. You had the whole grid of X * Y squares to play with and distort the image.

Hrm.. thanks..I don't seem to have it -- I suppose it's part of an add-on package or something.. but anyway, thanks for the help! I was able to rotate the pic slightly and pan across diagonally -- that seems to work okay... except for the fact that you get a few empty spots, but I couldn't help that anyway since I've zoomed in as much as possible without losing the image clarity. It's a good thing I decided to take hi-res shots. :)

Thanks again!
