Silksong is so fucking cheap I don't even care if there is a physical release until the game is complete. Going to buy one digital and wait for the inevitable Fangamer deluxe edition.

I liked the game, but did not love it. Definitely will be an interesting one to own physically. Would be ideal on a handheld.

They need to know that this is the wrong approach and that there are people who actually care about this.
I've been waiting a year for the PS5 release because I actually wanted to play it comfortably on the console and own the disc.
But I won't be buying this version.
Instead, I'm now considering a cheap Steam key.
I'm not paying full price for an incomplete game that doesn't work independently and is subject to server constraints.
If I have to depend on servers, then I'll choose the cheapest version.
I think it's important to let devs and publishers know.

It looks like we're getting a RoboCop: Rogue City Collection at the end of next month. I'm not sure if both the base game and the DLC are included on the disc, but this SKU is priced at £39.99.

Oh, good to know. And I was wondering whether to buy the game. DL2 didn't appeal to me at all - too colorful, too arcade-like, too many in-game aids because they don't trust the player to think for themselves, too many broken promises.
I probably would have given in with The Beast, which seems to do everything better. But full price for a borrowed license? Nah.

I wonder if they have resolved their licensing issues with the game, or if it is a different version, or if it is just a few old copies that were found in some storage?

I find it suspicious and strange to see a page with pre-orders.
I think, my friend, they're not going to renew the license anymore...
They're often expensive.
And I think they're selling off physical copies in stores.
Although they've already done that with some games... Including Nintendo.

Apparently, it's a reprint. I wonder how they managed to pull it off, especially considering the delisting and licensing issues you mentioned. Or maybe they're using the wrong verbiage and actually secured a deal with the distributor for whatever copies were left in the warehouse.

It's definitely not a Souls game and I've never played Shadow so I don't know.
It's an action game with puzzle elements, horror vibes and a strong narrative, exactly my cup of tea.

Funnily enough, a buddy and I started replaying the old Gears games on the 360 a month ago, and the German voice acting is so incredibly unpleasant and cheesy - it would be cheeky to advertise it in this state on the box

Amazon sent me out a German copy instead of a UK copy by mistake. It got sent back!

they got me guys, I'm a failure I had to buy digital version of dying light the beast cuz no physical is coming and borderlands 4. What's the point of buying physical anymore when you download the entire game anyway
