Hi,

My friend has an HDTV plasma screen and a PAL PS2. The old PS2 that does not support progressive scan for movies.

He can watch movies just fine with component cable thru the PS2. He has no problem with DVI from computer to the plasma screen. But when playing PS2 videogames he gets a pink picture. Do PAL games not support component output? NTSC games support RGB just fine.

Thanks in advance.

PAL Games do support component just fine.

Does he have the PS2 set to YPbPr or RGB (in the system settings) ? That would mess it up if set to RGB.
