Yeah, I heard there was a site where you can copy/paste your paper into a box to make certain that you haven't plagiarised anything. I found a couple, but you have to pay. What's the famous free one? I figure it's famous cuz I've heard of it a few times... though interestingly enough can't remember - at all - what it was called. Man, it feels so nice to ramble without consequence.

People recently have been busted for unwittingly plagiarising. Like, stealing "ideas" and not referencing them. My paper is on a popular topic.

the free ones all suck. no one's going to give you access to their database and the ability to game their algorithm for free.

in general the odds of your paper being flagged erroneously are pretty small.
