To be fair, saying "have lovely day" sounds little weird, you could just say "hey whats up"...thats enough.

You usually initiate friendliness with regulars. With people that you end up playing with often, or in Co-Op multiplayer games.

You don't just jump into a random game, and start doing the "I hope you guys have a lovely day" thing, and not expect to be called a slur.
