A lot of idiots tends to mark every action game (not even action RPG) with melee combat as souls-like
Asia like their swords and likes so they do a lot of games about them. Many of them, like WuKong are miles away from souls-like, they are just pure action games with modern mechanics found in myriads of games and not even Souls games popularized them (WoW actually did it for all those skill-based semaphores, phases etc bosses).
It's like complaining that the "every game in the west is FPS"
