Is Surf needed pretty often in this game? I don't have a Water type on my team and I really don't want to teach Surf to Stoutland (Adamant nature and naturally poor special attack).

Ok so Delibird has the ability Vital Spirit, which means it can't be put to sleep. And his dream world ability is Insomnia, which means it can't be put to sleep.

Why do you do this GameFreak.

The other 2 event Pokemon have their own special locations in case someone was wondering from earlier.

1)
Keldeo has the Icirrus Moor, where if you bring it along with the other 3 Muskeeter legendaries, it learns the exclusive Secret Sword move (Special Fighting, 85/100/10 PP, hits physical defense)

2)
Meloetta has the "bar"/music place in Castelia City, a guy there teaches it Relic Song (Special Normal, 75/100/10 PP, 10% chance of putting opponent to sleep, Meloetta changes forms from Normal/Fighting to Normal/Psychic and back)

So what are the other empty areas again? I forgot.

Just spent a WHILE exploring and trying to find something to do in the Desert Resort, only to find out you can't do anything until you beat the game. Nice.

edit- hang on, I'm listening to the Japanese one, and it's not what I remember. It's still worse though.

Again! Holy shit!! Was called to get a snivy egg. He hands me the egg, I turn right back around and get to the end of the stairs, "Heeey Nilus! Come here!" In the last games, the Pokemon had a chance of laying an egg every 255 or so steps, but obviously that has changed.

The Totodile Ike hooked me up with hatched and produced a female. That's rather rare for a starter, isn't it? Or is it just rare when starting a game, but not from an egg?

I had 3 eggs hatch 1 step a part once. Was amazing.

I'm really excited to start getting into the post game but I'm determined to breed and EV train a main team before I get into it. Right now I know I'm going with Hydreigon, Volcarona, Carracosta, and possibly Excadrill. The last two spots may be filler for now, as I'll want a pokemon to keep with me that knows fly, as well as one that can learn false swipe and either spore or thunder wave. Is there perhaps a pokemon that could learn all three of those moves, apart from Mew and Smeargle?

I've been playing Pokemon and my OSD of dust has been bothering me. My brand new dsi touch screen has accumulated a ton of dust. I used a microfiber cloth, but it just pushes it into the edges/corners. Is there any way to remove the dust? What do you guys do?

I have a rocket air bulb for camera equipment that I use. Also lens wipes. Keeps the screen nice and clean.

The best Pokemon to catch other Pokemon with is Gallade.

Hypnosis (self explanatory)
False Swipe (self explanatory)
Mean Look (for roaming Pokemon)
Taunt (for stuff like Roar)

The events are already on the cartridge. All it really takes is someone hacking the game to trigger the events.

For future Pokemon games on the 3DS will the events still have to be included in the game beforehand or can we actually get surprised for once? I haven't been following the 3DS that much so I don't know how feasible is DLC on it.

Chargestone Cave was awful. Just about every step there is a random battle, plus it was ridiculously confusing. Thank god that's over. Does anyone think I should use Joltik in place of someone in my party? My current party is Dewott, Musharna, Victini, Leavanny, Sandile and Gurdurr. I want to get rid of Victini but I don't know if that'd be a good fit. Plus I don't really need two bug types but I'm willing to switch them out if it'd work all right since Joltik is awesome.
