Does it really matter. How do we know these specific people are resellers? They're fucking douchebags but I'd like to see some receipts before we go calling them out as scalpers.
Love the part at the beginning that showed the dude with a cane lining up for the doors to open. Homeboy got fucking goofed, all he's gonna get are the Digimon cards.
Does it really matter.
Question: "Son, I saw a video of you fighting people over something called a 'Pokemon card', what do you have to say for yourself?"
Answer 1: "Dad, I just love the game Dad!"
Answer 2: "Dad, I make a few dollars off of each pack Dad!"
Response: "Well son, you are out of the will, and please say goodbye to your mother on the way out the door."
Which one in the video is you?I mean it kind of does matter. Saying they're scalpers without any proof is just being ignorant. Assuming the dad would do something stupid like that is also just an uneducated guess and ignorant.
It's not an assumption; I conducted a scientific poll of thousands of fathers, and they all said the same thing.I mean it kind of does matter. Saying they're scalpers without any proof is just being ignorant. Assuming the dad would do something stupid like that is also just an uneducated guess and ignorant.

Thinking the same thing. What sparked this demand for Pokemon cards resulting in this embarrassment? So is there a card shortage due to covid or what happened that Pokémon cards suddenly seem to be in such high demand and so attractive to scalpers?
Trading cards are up big during covid. So is there a card shortage due to covid or what happened that Pokémon cards suddenly seem to be in such high demand and so attractive to scalpers?

I don't think boredom has anything to do with it. People keep getting stimulus checks and unemployment benefits above and beyond what they normally made at their job. Politicians would have you believe everyone is buying groceries and paying down credit card debt with that money, but I'm guessing a good amount of our tax dollars are going into speculative crypto and trading card 'investments'Trading cards are up big during covid.
My buddy dabbles in sports cards on the side for fun and making extra cash. Since everyone is at home bored out of their minds, and sports are on lockdown, a lot of people have got into buying sports cards to keep interest.
And all that means is guys like my buddy with probably 10,000s cards he's collected over his life can sell shit at way more than usual.
Sad.

That a lot of people have some Monopoly money to spend, which is creating scalper markets for things like pokemon cards? Collectibles in general have skyrocketed in value over the last year. People are buying them with the expectation that they'll make more money laterThe fuck am I reading?
