Could very well be it. Hell, earlier I had the message saying "Your deposited pokemon has been traded!", saw an incoming JPN Ditto, but had my very same Ditto back in my box afterwards. :/
 
Got two Xerneases from GTS trading scythers w/ metal coat. One more and I think I'll be able to acquire Zapdos, Moltres, and Yveltal

Well I just traded my Ditto for a Japanese one and it worked perfectly. It might very well be the patch.

Can anyone else who's downloaded the patch check the GTS to see if it's working correctly?

I got a JPN ditto from wonder trade with no problem. Thanks again Skull for the help. Good night pokeGAF Im done
 
Does anyone know if fossil Pokemon can appear in Friend Safaris? I'd love to find someone with Kabuto or Omanyte if so.

I actually keep my Master Ball in case of a shiny that knows an escape/self-destruction move. It's never happened to me yet.

I don't think so but fossils don't take long to farm. Gen 1 fossils are apparently exclusive to Y so I haven't got either yet though.
 
Maybe I overloaded my connection to the GTS earlier. I was actively searching for Dittos, attempting trades, succeeding and failing, and then also receiving pokemon from the deposited trade. I just assumed the system would be able to handle my requests <_< It would explain the strange results though.

Is your Pokemon liking traded Pokemon a thing as far as breeding goes? I used a traded mon with my Ditto and the two were banging out babies like there was no tomorrow

Yeah, I just got like six Old Ambers in an hour on my Y yesterday, not realizing that you apparently have to beat the Champion before Helix and Dome Fossils start coming out of the rocks in Glittering Cave. Just wanted to use a Kabutops through the main quest but if I can't, Aerodactyl is fine (especially since it can be Mega Evolved early).

Do you want a Kabuto? I had about seven dome fossils yesterday lol. I wonder traded away a fair number of them, but I still have a couple left if you want one.

Looking around Nidorans can show up in hordes and horde ones can have hidden abilities. It might take a while, though.
I've jun now finally found a Gligar with Immuninty after countless horde battles running into non-Immunity ones and lots of Weepinbells,

I have a female Nidoran with Hustle sitting in my box that you could use to breed a Hustle male Nidoran. All yours for free if you want it.

They are just there for identifiers. Let's say you want to organize your Pokemon a certain way or help identify one as "good" or "bad" so you use those shapes.
 
Do any of you awesome people have a Japanese (Or other non-US) Phantump or Trevenant with great IVs? I'm looking to Masuda breed them, and would like the shiny to be as powerful as possible.

I have several good things I can offer. Please Gaf, help me!
 
After 8 hours of playing X I gotta say: when did Pokemon become so complicated? :(

You've restored power to Lumiose city, great! Go south from power plant and say hi to the construction workers as you pass.

Scizor is so boss. Always been my favorite 'mon. As I got into breeding for the first time he had to be my first. Took forever to get a genetically perfect specimen but sooooo worth it.

Currently going with the:

Technician
EV: Hp, Atk
Bullet Punch
Fury Cutter
Sword Dance
Roost

Build and he just wrecks shop so hard.

I lu u Scizor.
 
Anyone got an Eevee with the Anticipation ability? Been looking for one for a while.

I have quite a few Pokemon with random 5 max IVs - Protean Froakies, Eevee's. Let me know what you want - might have something else your after as well :)

And according to the judge it has superior IV and perfect IVs in HP and Defense! Too bad it has calm nature. I really better find a swarm of synchronizers so I can raise the odds of getting shiny pokemon with good natures.
 
This is the first Pokemon game where I've stored my starter. And I've been playing since Red/Blue. I feel kinda bad :/

Greninja is cool but doesn't really do it for me. Replaced with a Gengar. Much better! (my favorite ever!)

Bw and bw2 starters were terrible. I always store them. If I didn't store them then were probably hm slaves.
