Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon official site opens

I totally can't decide which version to get. Both are almost exactly the same apparently. The DS offers extra control methods via the stylus, and I think it has something like the bark mode in Nintendogs, but playing it on the GBA would mean less luggage.

It's easy, go with the GBA version... Charmander+Cyndaquil+Torchic >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Squirtle+Totodile+Mudkip :) ...

I'm pretty sure I'm going with the GBA version unless there's some crazy DS-exclusive feature I just can't live without. GB Micro is loads more portable than DS -- makes a big difference when you just wanna throw it in your pocket and go!

If I were to buy it, I'd buy it for DS.

I don't know, buying any game that appears on both DS and GBA for the older platform would feel like buying Wario's Woods or Mario is Missing on the NES instead of the actually playable SNES versions.

If you're only getting one, I'd say the DS is the preferred choice. Yeah, a GBA weighs less and takes up less space than a DS, but the DS also holds two games in it.

Yeah, but there's more to portability than size. With the DS you can snap the lid shut and the game goes to sleep exactly where you left it -- GBA games offer no such guarantee. It's a minor thing, but instant accessibility and sleep mode mean more to me than dimensions. (Which is to say, I'm getting the DS version.)
