They really force you to learn timing (rote timing) in a hurry. Strike and roll away. Or block...wait for that second follow up attack. Strike, roll away.

block (r-trigger) and wait for her to finish her combo, you will know her combo is done when she does the big double handed upercut, then attack her with a basic combo (X button repeatedly). do NOT try to flip over her (Y button) just stick to the basic combo. when your combo is finish block again. wash rinse repeat. somewhere in the middle you will have to play a mini game when your swords clash, you will have to hit the X button as fast as you can to win the mini battle, when you win it, hit her with another basic combo then bock again and follow the earlier plan.
