Think I'd only been there once years ago, but I remember it being decent. Gotta say, though, that chicken sandwich they're advertising on TV looks pretty dang good. I like a crunchy fried chicken. Don't know if it would actually be like that in reality, but eh, might give it a try time permitting.

This thread and the love of that disgusting Popeyes fried batter sandwich pissed me off so much I've spent the last 30 minutes looking for memes to accurately visualize my displeasure in people liking old greasy tasting sandwich that cuts the roof of your mouth and gives you a calorie high cause it's all fried batter soaked in old fry oil with a high calorie mayo spread on a buttered brioche bun..... Its an all frills no tast sandwitch vs a no thrills all taste sandwitch. I like chicken and the taste of chicken and realized it aint Sunday so if your disappointed I gave up on the meme search, that bitter taste in your mouth is how Popeyes chicken sandwiches taste to me.... I'm going to get me a real one at chick fill a right now

The chicken sandwich at popeyes isn't even all that good. The only saving factor or anything going for it is the fact that the sauce really helps with the flavoring. Though something like the Chick fil a sandwich does not need any sauce and it would be viewed as complimentary... not necessary.

While I do believe Popeyes has fallen off, you have completely lost me when you determined that KFC was better. KFC is 100% dumpster juice. They found a way to destroy their bread and butter, the honey BBQ wings. Doesn't even look like chicken anymore either. Back in the day though, Popeyes biscuits were god tier. Ain't nothing the same anymore and its a tragedy.
