We've heard talk for years about the original mixes to Portrait, which were
rejected by Interscope before they brought in Trent Reznor to rework most of
the material. Now it's finally out there for everyone to download! Some of
the tracks (like Lunchbox) are pretty close to the released mixes, while
others (like My Monkey) are completely different. You'll hear some different
samples they took out or buried in the mix, and you'll hear many little
nuances that were lost in the released version. There's also some different
lyrics, like "I'll love you if you try to fuck me and fuck you if you cry,"
in Snake Eyes & Sissies. The jewel of the collection is a completely new
recording of Filth (which was replaced with Wrapped In Plastic on the
album).
