These days you go through a gauntlet of interviews for technical positions (mine was 10 hours, which included speaking to 9 engineers and spending 4 hours writing a program). Do you write a thank you letter/email to every single person you spoke with? How long should you wait before making contact?
I'm pretty sure everyone there has <first initial><last name>@<company name>.com email addresses, so I can reasonably guess what everyone's email is (as I have a list of their names on my interview schedule). Would it seem stalkerish or weird for me to email them when technically they never gave me their email addresses?
Does any of this etiquette even matter? Almost everyone is a foreign national (Indian, mostly) with H1B visas. Do they give a crap about this stuff that we Americans worry about?
