You don't miss all the other bullshit do you? I just ran out of juice playing, that picture isn't even updated. I got to right around 60 and just couldn't play anymore. That and the offline stuff killed me, helping keep a LS in check and that damn video thread on Allakhazam killed me.

My DaOC character. A rogue..... 42 I don't know it's been years since I've played.

Unfortunately I'm too lazy to dig up my old screens (EQ, CoH, DAOC, AO, FFXI, etc), but here are my WoW characters:

159009

Knai the 58 troll rogue

159009

Mudora the 32 troll priest (don't mind the dorky hat)

Dethola, my level 9 rogue. He likes heavy metal music.

and that's my effiminate elf druid, who lives in the forst and hug bunnies. I created him 10 minutes ago, I cant remember his name, we're gonna call him John

Tried cosmos yet, MAF? Or any other UI mod? I could never go back to one ability bar.

This was me just before hitting the delete button:

63 Red Mage.
Had great times with the linkshells I was in, but trying to level up after 60 just destroyed my will to play the game. So many totally random wankers with major attitude problems... death.

mrcheeze: yeah, reformatted a few days ago, been too lazy to pick it up since nothing ive done this week has required precision. Lots of herbz n potionz.

My first main, Morbide (Rogue), now retired:

Jon, the early sixties were hell, regardless of grouping issues, although I managed to find a lovely spot which made them, I promise, much better than almost anyone elses experiences. Faster to boot.

Sticking around to the mid sixties was mucho worth it though, picked up so well after due to the battle evolutions.

The typical comminity I hung around with, until the past few months, was pretty decent for me. Granted, the HNM shells were always filled with total fucking idiots and crybabies. (although I was able to dequip and leech most of the time, due to being a somewhat rare, always needed BLM), but it was pretty easy to avoid drama.

I think if anything would rank up on my list of reasons I likely won't return though, it'd be the Japanese. Honestly, I could write a book. The blubbering, boorish idiots from the western front had nothing on the pure "shithead" factor of the average JP FFXI player. I hate to generalize, especially with my friends list being half full of super nice Japanese folk (that and I had a static from 60-68 that was half Japanese), but man, I really wish us Westerners would've gotten seperate servers at times.

Oh well. I miss the group centric play, as well as a lot of the flavor of mechaincs and content, and of course the lovely visuals and lore. But I don't regret dropping to WoW, it's general accessibility, even in it's semi-broken state really does wonders, even if it is a little TOO friendly at times.

I guess in the end though, I had a good server, I now sit, mocking from a distance at the shit Shouta goes through on his borderline LJ server. Bwahaha. Oh... and I'll post my characters later, sorry.

Which server were you and Shouta on? Ragnarok was nothing but drama :lol
I agree there were some pretty asstastic Japanese players. I stopped because of my family more than any other single issue though. It gave me chance to play lots of other games though, which I'm grateful for, but were it not for my family commitments, I'd have probably gone back to the game for the Promathia expansion. Still, I have nothing but great memories now. I forget all the shitness that happened ;)

I really loved this character, and it´s my first MMRPG character. It was hard to leave it because how nice it was. Sadly, I got really bored of City of Heroes.

I love the idea behind MMRPGS, and being a fan of exploring the games, they are really fantastic for this. But I hate the idea of paying monthly. However, I am having a blast playing EVE with a 15 days free trial, and I´m pretty sure will pass at least 30 days in WoW and Everquest 2 (even if the idea of paying for something I am not able to play whenever I want piss me).

I went for Midgard a week after PC launch. Me and Shouta along with a few other US Beta players and some GA folk tried to make a LS on Fairy (where they remain), but the early incantation of it was pretty asinine and overly problem plagued, so that was that.

I retired my stuff on Hades after a server migration. Maybe I'll go back someday, if they ever put any hefty additional content in. Promathia isn't enough to keep me around.

75 WHM/75 BLM as my main. With a hefty bunch of other leveled jobs as well. I played FFXI way, way too much, har. I loved it though, it along with classic UO are def. my favorite online titles ever.

Just doing thumbnails since it's too many:
