Anyone running Cosmos can turn on the profile option and upload their gear to Thottbot. Then after you log out, run the Cosmos.exe and it will upload everything to the Thottbot database in like a second. If you don't have Cosmos, you can find someone in-game who has it and they can take a snapshot of your character's profile and upload it to the Cosmos database. So let's see what you've got! Please post thottbot links, screenshots optional.

Wow, super sweet gear. Of all the people i've inspected w/in our level range, you win the most "rare" items count by 5 or 6 :lol

Do you just do frequent runs into <insert instance of choice>? I've been thinking about doing that.

I'm running CTmod unfortunately, but how do I get someone w/ Cosmos to take a snapshot? I just have them inspect me?

I'm still upset I lost an auction. I figured no way in hell anyone else would bid on this Rare dagger that did 50+ max damage (21 dps). I bid 20 gold on it. I mean how many people have more than 20 gold, at 5 am in the morning, that need a dagger that's lvl 27.


Obviously someone else other than me.

ahah using thott i found who outbid me. That bastard....... seen him many times. That dagger also seems to drop in horde territory (based on the percentage of people who have it, only 1 alliance has it). Damn need to figure out where it comes from.

No, first run through Wailing Caverns, I got 3 rare drops (2 off of monsters that will always drop the item). The drops in that dungeon are mail, so only warriors can wear it at our level. After completing WC, you turn in a quest and get a 4th item, so one run = 4 rares.

Yeah you just need someone with cosmos to target you and upload the profile and you'll be in the db. Look at the character FAQ link at the bottom of the screen when viewing a profile. I can do it if you're ony Tichondrius. Shouldn't be hard to find someone with Cosmos on your server.

I've done one better and am giving Cosmos a shot today. So all i do is run the .exe to upload to Thottbot?

I don't have cosmos, but right now, my lvl 20 hunter has +41 agility. I don't know how good that is, but I almost took out a lvl 23 NE hunter last night. We were pretty much neck and neck when he used a lesser healing potion at the very end. Bastard.

damn, I hope Eggo didn't have a shaman with him when he did WC or he should be kicking his own ass for taking that shield.

Otherwise that stuff is just boss drops and all mail... deadmines is a little more loot balanced for other classes (plus it looks like the bosses dropped mostly warrior stuff on that WC run).

but more importantly, the alliance gets a really good money instance for the low 30s in Gnomeregan... it can be a bit long if you try to do everything at once but the bosses drop awesome stuff. The last guy can drop a sweet 2h axe, shield, or rings with random stats that can be good for anybody.

yeah, but alliance gets roughly half a billion quests for it, while the lone horde quest is tucked away and almost nobody finds it without being told where it is already.

Hmm... I use CTMod, and as much as I would like to throw my profile up here, I'm not installing Cosmos just to do it. Because it sucks.

If anyone knows of a seperate UI mod that uploads a profile or some way to create one through their website lemme know...

Cosmos is way too bloated, too much crap I don't need and will never use. I don't need the program loading all those addons I never use into memory when I run the game.

Saying it sucks was a little much... shouldn't have said that. It's a good UI, but just way too much for what I need.

EDIT: Turns out Allakhazam has a character profile creator too. Just download a program, run it, and it uploads your character info to their website.

I want to link to my gear but it sucks compared to Eggo's as of 5 days ago (still have only 1 blue item for that matter haha) and Thottbot isnt updating my profile for some reason.

Well, I installed Cosmos just to upload my current profile. Apparently someone else had already uploaded my info, but it is 4 days old. My gear is way different now... And I've uploaded my new info multiple times and it won't update.

It takes a looong time to update their database it seems. My 22 mage profile was put up yesterday after having uploaded it 2 days prior.

Nataku: Do you have full screen glow effect on and anti-aliasing? I've got anti-aliasing on but I don't have that glowy effect you and mana seems to have.

Finally hit 36 after far too many deaths to the Horde. Acquired one of the best bows for my level, too. The Master Hunter's Bow

Update on my character. Since hitting Lv36 I now have +108 AGI for 187 AGI total. Not bad. Should easily hit 200 AGI by Lv40. Now the only problem is my mount. I have no clue how to make large amounts of gold at any decent rate. Guess I should look into some areas to farm or something. Haven't started crafting yet. Did Eng/Mining in OB until it capped at 75 or whatever the first cap is. I've been waiting, and hoping, Blizzard will add some sort of arrow craft to the game with the next patch. If they don't, I guess I'll take up some other craft.

After much internal debate, I decided to drop Alchemy/Herbalism recently. I am now a Tailor /Enchanter at the moment. I blew 4g yesterday just getting my enchanting to 94. Oi! By far the most expensive and slowest profession!

ps- I HATE MY HAT!!!! Look at those stats, but it's so ugly compared to my no-stat hood. Oh well.

I meant that bow. It's given for completing a quest in which you must kill a lvl 42 elite. Not something a lvl 35 will have any effect on.

Well, I have it. Of course I didn't solo it, or kill it with just a Lv35 party. Had the help of a Lv40 Warrior. But other than that, the party was Lv35.

EDIT: And just so you know, there's no way to hack that. It updates right from the info it gets from the game. I don't tell it what to put there... it puts up what I have.

Are you serious? You're still using the fire-hardened hauberk at level 41? How's it working for you? I ditched it for green iron armor around lev 31. I do keep it (Brutal Armor for Horde) in a bag for quick equip before an important fight if I need the insta-rage. How's Mortal Strike working for you? I can't wait to get it.

Yeah, I am saving money for my mount... saw a Heavy Mithril BP last night for only 4 gold buyout at the AH but held off. Need another 10 gold before I can start spending money on gear (at about 80 gold after some auctions). I've been offered better from guildies but it was only slight mail increases and I like the stats on the Hauberk for now. Once I get my mount, I'll likely get the mithril (like 536 armor, 15 stamina).
