Not sure what you're saying here, but I'd say it was possible on the N64, and it would have been Body Harvest with a change of skin and a bigger cart.

I woud have preferred an isometric viewpoint more similar to the 3d games, but this game does still look pretty cool. I just hope the controls are more like the newer games and not that wonky 360 style from the old ones.
