(PR) Atari's Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 Goes Gold;Release on Nov 16 + LE version

BEVERLY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 25, 2004--Atari, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATAR) today announced that Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) 3, has been approved for release by Sony Computer Entertainment America and manufacturing has begun. Rated 'T' for teen, Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) 3 and the Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) 3 Limited Edition will launch for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system at a suggested retail price of $49.99 and $59.99 on November 16th. Both products should be available in-stores by November 23.

The third installment of the popular Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) titles, Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai(TM) 3 has received critical acclaim in previews from leading consumer and enthusiast publications.

Anyone know how the GC version of Budokai 1 sold in the US?
Enough to greenlight a GC port of Budokai 2... I think around 300k.

Also, it's rumored that Atari will be bringing Banpresto's excellent looking Dragon Ball Advance Adventure to the the US as Drgaon Ball: The Red Ribbon Army Saga. :)
