Anyone notice the huge presence of sci-fi shows that will be on by this Fall? It seems like it's the new trend. I refuse to believe that there is even the possibility of there being this much quality sci-fi on at once but I'll most definitely be watching 2 to 3 episodes of each show to see what makes the cut. Here's a list from what I've gathered.

Surface
Medium
Threshold
Ghost Whisperer
Lost
Invasion
Night Stalker
Smallville
Supernatural
Charmed
Stargate SG-1
Stargate Atlantis
Battlestar Galactica

From that list, I'll be watching Medium, Lost, Smallville, both Stargates and BSG for sure. A lot of the rest seem to be the same with different names. Surface, Threshold, and Invasion are all about alien/creature invasions. Night Stalker is a remake of an old series but I don't know much about it. Supernatural I just found out about but it's on the WB. Ghost Whisperer sounds like a Sixth Sense rip off, but it has JLH so it might be worthy of a viewing. Anyone hear much about any of these yet?

I just saw Invasion and it was terrible. Fortunately for it, I have a rule that I have to see 3 episodes of a series before I give up on it. I know first pilot eps are about setup and aren't exactly an indicator of what the show will be like which is why I have the 3 ep rule. I hope this gets better cuz right now it blows.
