Man accused of asking girls to find teens for sex

CRIME REPORTER
A 46-year-old Toronto man appeared in court yesterday after he was charged with trying to persuade teenaged girls to help him "access much younger children for the purposes of sexual assault," police say.
"It was in the planning stages," said Det. Brent Dillane of Scarborough's 41 Division.
Police allege a man first established contact with a teen in an Internet chat room. They arranged to meet, and she subsequently introduced him to other teenagers aged 16 to 18.
"The contact was over the last couple of months," Dillane said. There were some offers of money and the man told some of the teens he was looking for introductions for sexual purposes, police said.
While the teens live in Scarborough, the accused lives in the west end. The youths didn't call police but confided in someone who did.
The case is still ongoing, Dillane added. "We don't know if there were any victims out there. If there were, we'd like to know about it."
Police arrested a man driving his car near Kennedy Rd. and Eglinton Ave. E. He appeared in Scarborough bail court yesterday and was remanded in custody.
Leon Wasser, also known as Doug, is charged with counsel to commit an indictable offence.

I got to the Schulich School of Business in York University and I have a few friends that took this prof's Business Ethics class. Very Ironic. It's also had an impact on people who took his classes because he hasnt given in their marks for the last semester so their left with no mark for it.
In relation to this, today YU had 5 cop cars and a helicopter searching the campus for someone. Not sure what it was. Also, my friend got smashed in the head yesterday by two bottles in a brawl, and his face is all cut up. :S York is really funked up, if it weren't for Schulich (who's reputation is gonna take a big hit with this sexual assault thing) I would have never gone here.
