I'm looking for one of those programs that will automatically cycle through the links on a web page and store all the pictures and video it finds into a particular directory....and I'm presuming that they can be set to go 2-3 links beyond the page you tell it to check.

If anybody can recommend a decent program (preferably freeware), I'd appreciate it. I've tried google but it turns up a lot of $20-$50 stuff from no-name companies and I'm a bit anxious about getting spyware in their trial versions.

When I first installed Firefox and was looking for extensions, I'm pretty damned sure I saw one that would do this, or something similar.

There's an FF extension that does this called Spiderzilla. It uses the same technology as Httrack, which i'm using now to rip sites. It takes a little time to get the hang of it, but it can definitely be configured to rip images only.

Uhhhh, I'm talking about sites I already have a password to. Spiderzilla just returns an error-log and nothing appears.

Down-Them-All is okay but it only does one page at a time (too slow)..

Web Dumper works if you have the password. There's an "Authentication" box you check, then enter name and password. There's no limit on the number of pages, either.
