Odd, I was under the impression there was a conspiracy to force everyone go digital and they were gone forever.

Got mine a few days ago. Installed and tested. It’s loud at full spin but slows down and then it’s okay. I like the eject button, I can actually see it.
PS5 launch was the same. Loud when installing or when you initially load a disc.
Otherwise, it was fairly silent.

Typical EB Games had stock and wouldn't sell them to you unless you were lvl5.. absolute BS.

I hit power instead of eject (or vice versa) so many times on my first PS5. Hated that. This is much better.

It’s the best upgrade beside no coil whine. Almost worth the money.

Related, I use PS5 as the Blu-ray player and bought a dedicated Panasonic Blu-ray player because of this annoying disc drive delay. Turns out it has the eject button and power button placed side by side at the TOP of the device, impossible to see from the front when inside a TV shelf. Whyyyyyy????

I know Valve is infinitely rich and all that, but if Steam goes down the plughole I'm down hundreds of games. Kinda shitty.

If that happens all those games and more are just a click away, and they're yours forever.

And if Steam went down there are millions upon millions of people who would have no problem doing so.
