I'm not sure it's on the UK Store. I found it on the US store (where the hells the demo section??) by clicking on Lego Marvel game page where it's up to buy and I could select the demo that way. Try that on the UK store perhaps.

So how does remote play work? Is there a guide somewhere about using it? I got it to sync and I'm using it, seems ok, but then I launch Killzone on my Vita, start a MP session and i'm constantly getting graphic glitches and disconnects. I'm in the same room as the PS4, less than 10 feet away.
Also what is the option in the vita when you set it up about connecting by wifi or whatever it is?

Yeah I used that option on Fifa. No option for it on Lego Marvel. MAybe it just isn't there yet.
Where is that section, I can't find it for the life of me. :S
Tried to download the stuff from the website using the download queue but that didn't work. Just isn't downloading what I have in the queue.
When I was in line at gamestop today 5 PS4s were sold out of the 20ish people in front of me and 2 Xbones as well. There was plenty of stock for that first round of shoppers.

The game options in the dynamic menu seem to be missing (pressing down on any game), have Sony disabled them whilst PSN is getting hammered?
Quite possibly. They have been switching bits off all day trying to lighten the load.

Rather then suspending the game, going through the menu to the notifications to find it.

Anecdotal evidence incoming! Tesco this afternoon. PS4 games section completely battered. There was literally nothing there barring Knack and a copy of Need for Speed (which I yoinked). The Xbone games were fully stocked. Multiple copies of everything including CoD and FIFA.

Had the PS4 for a full 24hours now. Hnnnng this thing is fantastic. Just been doing some party chat with my brother. God damn is it good to be able to chat and do whatever I want on a Playstation console. Not to mention the live broadcasting.
Speaking of which is it possible to find out when a friend is broadcasting gameplay? Is that part of the "What's new" section which is currently taken down by Sony to ease the stress on PSN?

After 12 hours, i am really impressed. The UI and OS are pretty damn cool and really snappy. I like being able to access the whole PDM whilst in game (basic but something the PS3 was severely lacking in!)
Tried out broadcasting and sharing, seems to work pretty well. Can't see myself using it much, but hey!
Remote play works so much better than i ever exptected - wow. Completely playable from basically anywhere in my house

Any news of the sales? I want to know how many records this thing shattered.
Expected on launch day though. I'd wager in a week the game stock will be back to normal for the PS4. Generally games aren't in short demand, just the consoles to play them on.
I found something weird in Killzone, it had some weird white points that appeared randomly in the first episode. They were super weird, like particles in the air but not natural, they went and gone and I got scared thinking in a problem with the GPU.
Tried Resogun, everything normal, and now I went back to Killzone and I think that effect is gone (now there are particles floating in the air but they look normal and natural for the game.
Anyone else so I can put any fear to rest?
The console itself is amazing, absolutely love it.

My guess is that if Sony were to share sales it would be until tomorrow. I guess they want to collect the data for all the countries it were available, and for Latin America - at least - it's still Nov.29 for at least 7hrs more.

At home I put my SSD in, installed the Update and started playing. 15 minutes for the whole procedure, at the most. The UI is clean, simple and fast, just how I like it. Haven't played around with the PSN yet because I heard it was getting hammered.
Put in Killzone, the game install was maybe a minute, 25 seconds after that I was already playing. I'm telling you, I could definitely get used to this ...

So, maybe someone here knows. I bought a US PS+ subscription and wanted to add it on my PS4's US account. The PS4 itself is in Europe.
When I enter the code in the store on my US account, it loads shortly and then goes back to the main menu withouth giving any feedback as to what happened. Any ideas?

if you go to settings / systems store management/apps and select game.
Go to the game and press options, go to info. it tells you how much is downloaded.

Can't believe even South Korea gets PS4 before Japan!!!
They better launch here with some kind of special Japan version colors or something as compensation for being so late! Because it is going to be a long cold wait till freakin Feb...

Huh. Are you sure? Since 2011 I've had PS+ via the complimentary PS+ during the hack in 2011, some random time I can't remember why for about 14 days, and 30 days for Extra Life. AND YET, I was still able to use the voucher that came with my PS4 (it had 30 days PS+, 30 days Music Unlimited, $10 PSN voucher). I have never purchased a year subscription, but will at or after Christmas, as PS+ for me expires in January.

The shooting feels nice and the levels aren't bad but I have some issues with mission markers and a lot of other small things that make this game a 7/10 for the single player (full scale so above average). I'm sure I will get enjoyment out of it, especially the multiplayer!

Then I was like "ok".
Followed by "woah".
And finally "HOLY FUCKING SHITBALLS THIS IS AWESOME!"
I haven't learnt too much about the finer points of the game yet so I'm not very good, but fuck me I love this game. The music (especially in the last stage) just makes it that much better!

Downloads and updates are both downloaded in StandBy mode. At least that's how has been working for me.
anyone knows a workaround? Want to play Resogun =/

How does the optical audio output work?
Is there a way to make it work like on the PS3 where it will auto switch the AV Receiver to the correct audio codec?
At the moment my amp says 'DTS' even when playing something in stereo off of netflix or while playing the game Contrast for example even though it isn't in surround.

the "pointer" feature works VERY well in text mode. It's faster than normal input mode and very precise. Not even wii+ can be this precise and the ps4 has no indicators whatsoever
My exact thoughts. I can type faster with the DS4 than I ever could with a wii remote.
Haha i'm pretty sure that was me. Are you from the UK? Was it the last level (aka Mefitis)?
My connection is bad anyway but I was downloading and uploading shit at the same time. Was a bad idea but just wanted to have quick look what co-op is like.

In the EU there are no vouchers for this, the 14-day trial is just an option in the PS Store. If you have ever had PS+ on your account before (which includes everyone who got it after the PSN hack) you can't select that option, you just get brought to a screen where you can buy the regular subscriptions. So yeah, in the EU this is definitely the case.

It's awsome, although it craps out a bit if, mid-input, you walk away from the console with the controller and then come back. Then it doesn't know where the center is supposed to be anymore. But you can quickly reset it by just pressing R3 again, so no biggie.
Apart from no UI customization, lack of friend notifications and the problem I'm having with DLC codes (Waiting to install but never does, content doesn't show up on my download queue), I am thoroughly enjoying the system. Everything is super slick, the controller's awesome and the launch games I picked up actually pretty good.
Overall I'm very happy, but I hope they fix the issue/add the features I stated.
