I just wanna know if anyone has heard of anything new about the game in recent months. Sonic team has been awfully quiet.

I don't think we've had any news since TGS, but here's a link to Sega's PSO BB TGS site. You can see some new images of the areas and monsters that will appear.

So what is the "next" PSO game? As in, after III in the storyline...Phantasy Star Universe?

Episode IV does exist actually, but only in the PC version of Episode I&II which is called Blue Burst. It was shown at TGS, and has just started beta testing.

Apparently one of the new items in Episode IV was also featured in the PSU trailer. So maybe it's linking PSO to PSU? That would also suggest a PC version of PSU, which increase the chances of it being a MMORPG like FFXI.

Wish they'd atleast give us some more PSU info to compensate for no Episode IV! Want to know what exactly I am looking forward to!

Whoa really? I didn't know about this, I like that. I'd really like to see a full blown MMORPG for PSO. Interesting news nonetheless though, Sega is being way too quiet about this game.

I found these shots on the PSOW forums, all I could find. Looks really nice so far, I'm rather glad they went back to traditional PSO gameplay.
