Looks interesting. Not pretty, but interesting. What is this? I'm not familiar with the name.

Generation of Chaos is a popular (in Japan, at least) SRPG series from Idea Factory. It's similar to Disgaea, Phantom Brave, etc.

Thanks. Does it resemble the Quest or Nippon Ichi style more?

If they didn't push so many GoC games out so quickly, we'd might actually see one of them over here :lol.

I really should pick up a few of these games to play in my spare time.

I think it looks shit hot. Like a cross between Romance of the Three Kingdoms and FF Tactics.

Then again, I'm not familiar with the series, so eh.

The game itself doesn't look so good. Too dark.. But can I say it enough? I love the PSP screen. Those portraits look damn amazing.

It's not really like Nippon Ichi games...

You roll dice and move characters across a gameboard(map). Similar to Culdcept actually. Except no card battle.

In some ways, it's similar to Ogre Battle. Except you are restricted to the board.
You start off at you base, and send characters off to fight enemies and conquer fortresses. Screen 2 looks like the peasants are paying tributes to your character...

The battles are semi action, if I remember correctly. Each character has an army. You fight in mass battles, with the army controlled by AI. But you actually control the commander with weapon attacks, along with casting spells on the enemy's army.
