PSP Question (not what you think)

The other day I realized two things - I have a lot of gamerush credit, and I need a good MP3 player. So I hatched a master plan to go and buy a PSP, return it to Target, then pay the difference and get an ipod. Sad thing is $250 is about $50 over their "no receipt" return policy (found that out today) and this leaves me with a PSP and no ipod. I also went to Circuit City and Best Buy with the same amount of luck.

Does anyone want to trade me $250 for a new, never opened PSP? ;) I might just put it on ebay, maybe a $250 BIN w/free shipping or something, just to get it sold and me the money.

Sorry - I'm having way too much fun playing the games on my iPod.

Longshot: would you trade it for a 2nd Gen 10Gig iPod?

If you're looking to sell your Ipod, you should send me some pics I may be willing to purchase it :D

Not really looking to sell it. I'd just rather have an american PSP, what I would have done is trade up, then sell my Japanese PSP.

my shtick: "I asked my mom for a nice MP3 player for my birthday last month and this is what I got."

What I got back: "It plays MP3's." :rollseyes

"I know that, I just have a little bit more than 32MB of music on my hard drive."

Pedigree Chum: I was specifically looking for the 30GB ipod photo. They only had the 40 GB.

Chiggs: well, I feel less guilty about it because I bought it at full price (more or less) unlike the penny Jet Set Radio's that were returned to Wal-Mart. And I did try Best Buy. The returns person took one look at it and said "NO."

and I will get one of my own at some point, but not with an infant due in about 2 weeks. (ipod will always be on me vs PSP laying out and getting slobbered on/dropped)

Hahahahahaha, nice.

bune duggy: With an infant on the way, you'll have a PSP sooner than you think. You'll soon be too tired to connect up your PS2 or switch over the TV. And the kid will be watching Nicktoons or something.

I've got a kid running about and I never let him carry the handheld machines. He keeps trying to pull off the top screen of my DS, but he's usually pretty happy to play around with the slipcase that comes in the PSP value pack. Don't worry about slobber though, it wipes off easily enough, and you'll have your own to wipe up anyway after you gawp at the screen long enough :)

hmm. I'm tempted to keep it but at the same time my game-playing time has decreased in the past few months to about 8 hours a week or so. I listen to more music lately than play games so that's why I'm looking for an ipod.
