YOU HAVE USER NOTES AND A CALENDAR!!!!!1111

This is like Xbox Live except without the user notes and calendar

50 bucks a year...sign me up

someone mentioned to me that having free giveaways may not even be legal because of the paid membership requirement... at least in the USA anyway... any legal experts care to weigh in?

I think you confused a normal website about independent dev. for the PSP with a online service

I'll be sure to report my local church or girl scout group every time they do a raffle. OOh, and I'll finally have my vengeance on all those old farts who play bingo at Moose Haven!

I don't know what the deal is with those contests in cereals and candy, but it sounds to me like your source is just looking for something for nothing.

I haven't gotten the durn poups to cease in Firefox. Try right-clicking on it in various places to find a way to block it, but the most I've managed to do is make a subset of the images on said popups invisible.

What you need to do is list all blockable sources with adblock and then just ban the ad servers all together using *'s rather liberally. That should fill and holes that firefox leaves open.

In most of the USA, you can't have any sort of raffle/drawing/etc. where participants PAY to take part in it -- unless you're a charity. Most states make exemptions for charities.

This reminds of the N-Philes thread... and I'm still waiting for that DVD.

after some research, we at emunoobs, along with two unmentioned contributors found out that pspupdates along with their sister sites is a network which is PLAIN COMMERCIAL. yes COMMERCIAL, they are in the scene for money only. they do not care about homedevelopers, they care about their income.

* psphacker.com is registered to a holding company
* pspupdates.com is registered to a jonathan who's bussiness page is mysupersales.com

but before we take all the fun for you, complete the puzzle yourself, do some research by your own.

when pspupdates was called psphacker, they claimed that they do something for the scene. this is wrong. they do something for their pocket.

it looks like pspupdates will be branded an evil entity like ps2ownz was years ago...
